Wiki wiki what?

In this activity student groups will be assigned different Cameron Family plantations to research.
Using the wiki application on Blackboard, students will create a wiki that deals with life on their assigned plantation. The ultimate goal being to link the wikis where each Cameron plantation can be compared.

Students will complete their wiki using the following criteria:

Basic:
Name and location of the plantation
who is in charge
how the Cameron family came into ownership of the plantation
Advanced:
Crime on the plantation
Health on the plantation
Relationship between whites and slaves
Main crops produced
Ease of trade
Frequency of visits from Paul Cameron

Students will present their wiki to the class and are encourage through extra credit points to make the wiki as extensive, interactive, and include multimedia items. Activity covers all goals and objectives in my lesson plan.

It seems like these topics might need to be adjusted for specific letters. We should go back, pick some specific letters and reconsider the topics.
