In reading my part of the Plantation Letters, I was impressed by the mixture of "it's just business" and humanity shown toward the slaves; it left me with very strange feelings about the entire institution of slavery. It wasn't split evenly either...

Were the Cameron slaves dissatisfied with their lot as slaves?
My mission was to explore these letters and unearth evidence that would prove that the Cameron slaves, as one would assume most slaves, were unhappy in the state of slavery. While sorting through the extracted portions of the letters provided by my classmates, it dawned on me that, in order to make the most sense of this information, the letters needed to be sorted into chronological order.
